FAIRTRADE RECIPES
Choco-nutty brownies were our taster at one of our first Tea Tents. They disappeared so quickly we decided to share the recipe.
They are made using Divine Chocolate and Liberation Nuts. We love Divine Chocolate because they are the only chocolate company in the world which is 100% Fairtrade and owned by the cocoa farmers. The farmers not only receive a better deal for their cocoa and additional income to invest in their community, they also have a share of Divine’s profits and a stronger voice in the cocoa industry. Liberation Foods is the UK’s only Fair Trade, farmer-owned nut company. The small-scale grower and farmer co-operatives own a 44% share of the company.
