FAIRTRADE FORTNIGHT 2021
22nd February to 7th March
Fairtrade Fortnight this year highlighted the growing challenges that climate change brings to farmers and workers in communities that Fairtrade works with.
For Farmers and Workers in countries such as Ethiopia and Honduras, climate change is one of the biggest challenges right now and low prices for their crops means that they are struggling. Only with more money will they feel equipped to meet their everyday needs and deal with the challenges they face from climate change. They are the ones who have done the least to contribute to climate change and yet they are the ones most affected.
